Well, Birthday is officially a T40 hit and there should be no more "Is it worse than Guy's performance" threads/rants.
"Justin Timberlake's "Not a Bad Thing" climbs 8-6 on Radio Songs (90 million, up 13 percent); 11-9 on Digital Songs (87,000, down 1 percent); and 37-35 on Streaming Songs (2.1 million, up 11 percent)."
So airplay points>sales points>streaming points. Can I say that its biggest success is on radio now then?
1. Pharrell Williams - Happy (=)
2. John Legend - All Of Me (=)
3. Katy Perry feat. Juicy J - Dark Horse (+1)
4. Jason Derulo feat. 2 Chainz - Talk Dirty (-1)
5. DJ Snake feat. Lil Jon - Turn Down For What (+2)
6. Idina Menzel - Let It Go (-1)
7. Iggy Azalea feat. Charli XCX - Fancy (+11)
8. Bastille - Pompeii (-2)
9. Justin Timberlake - Not A Bad Thing (-1)
10. Chris Brown feat. Lil Wayne & Tyga or Too $hort or French Montana - Loyal (-1)
A lot of movement in the Top 10.
Happy's streams were still stronger than expected. 8.7 million vs. AOM's 7.7 million.
Separated by 5% which will definitely close this week with Happy losing #1 exposure. Again, unless Iggy becomes a huge streaming force, then it looks like John's gonna get it next week.
Fancy is too strong, will likely be number 1 sooner than most think
The gap of airplay, the only thing she is behind the number 1 and 2 songs, closes signifcantly every day. Building that lead on streaming and sales, wouldnt be too surprised if this is number one in two weeks. But who knows at this point
