It was fake. The person on Twitter that started the rumor told me they read it on my website, the Adele Wiki, which is false. All it said was that Gaga had expressed interest in singing with Adele and said that she loved her. It never mentioned an actual collaboration.

Didn't Celine have two back to back 30 million selling albums though?

Adele won't likely sell 30 million again, but it's not like everyone has forgotten about her. Plus people love her voice and that's what basically sells her music. As long as she sticks to her sound (which someone confirmed that she had), she should be fine.

I don't think she'll have massive singles though but I guess that'll depend on how the songs sound.

And it's not like the industry has changed much either since she last released. Her influence is still heavy on radio.

And she's literally done nothing to damage her image as well.

Yeah, although Phil Collins and her could be doing a duet together, not just writing, and the rumor about her and Beyoncé collaborating is still up in the air because they were supposedly seen at the same studio at the same time over the summer and they want to collaborate with each other. Any other collaboration seems really unlikely, although I'm still waiting on a John Legend collab.

And on the subject of her official site going down numerous times, I'd like to think it was just a coincidence, but let's be realistic, what are the chances of that happening multiple times on the same day we find out her brand new album is coming seemingly sooner than we originally thought? I think Adele her management are up to something.
