Lucky actually being given 3 minutes. We get out of a class when the bell rings and are expected to be standing outside our next class at the same time. Literally impossible. My school has a uniform policy and measures the size of heels on girls shoes with a ruler () then puts them in detention if it's like 0.1cm more than it should be.
We're also not allowed to use our phones/iPods/anything within the school building at any time or else you get a detention on Saturday.
Well we have 5mins and mobile devices are allowed in classes for "educational use" But everyone goes on Facebook and stuff and the teachers don't care.
They only brought this in cause everyone used to be on their phones and it was a rule to not have it out in school yards / classes so instead they altered the rule to allow it basically.
The uniform for us is not as strict but the school bags still are.
We have a plasco system where if you're late they scan your ID and then they give you a pass to give to the teacher. Basically it's supposed to cut down on tardies, but really it just keeps people out of class longer.
