This is just the principle of butchering an animal in an exhibitionist way. It's completely inhumane and demoralising to the animal who is literally deconstructed as a slab of meat in front of a crowd of people who only care to see the animal entrapped in a reserve.
It's really gruesome as far as animal rights are concerned, and the sheer principle that we would bastardise the innocence of both animal and onlooker in such a tactless way is stomach turning.

If I remember correctly, cutting up humans is against the law and were pretty high upon the food chain.
They didn't have to stay there if they were disgusted, which they from what I see werent bothered by it at all. They came to that pen knowing fully well that the giraffe was gonna get murked that day. And stayed after it dies and while its getting cut up. They didn't have to stay.
