Denver beats New England in the Super Bowl? I didn't know teams from the same conference could play in the SB.
I'll include some random predictions. No exact records. I'm never good with that.
AFC Division Winners:
East: New England(home field advantage)
North: Baltimore(as much as it pains me to say it, though they are NOT going 13-3 this year.)
South: Indy
West: San Diego(first round bye. Again.)
Wild Card:
1) Cincinnati
2) Denver
NFC Division Winners
East: Philadelphia(probably the toughest division to call. People are high on Dallas. I see them going to the playoffs...but I don't think they're better than Philly with a healthy McNabb.)
North: Chicago(duh?)
South: New Orleans(if you thought they were good last year, wait until this year. Oh, and remember, NO ONE beats New Orleans at the Superdome when it matters. NO ONE. This becomes important later, as they gain home field throughout the NFC playoffs.)
West: San Francisco(this is the year they break out and win the West. You heard it here first.)
Wild Card:
1) Dallas
2) Seattle
Playoffs:
Wild Card Round:
Indy defeats Denver
Cincy defeats Baltimore(Cincy has proven that they can beat Baltimore before. If Chris Henry can stay out of trouble and play into the playoffs, forget about it.)
Dallas defeats San Francisco(as much as I like SF, they're too young to make THAT much noise.)
Philadelphia defeats Seattle(If Seattle were at home...but they're not.)
Divisional Round:
New England defeats Indianapolis(sorry Peyton, but you still aren't winning when it counts at Gillette Stadium.)
San Diego defeats Cincinnati(It's the LT show. We're all just living in it.)
New Orleans defeats Dallas(Tony Homo gets his yet again.)
Chicago defeats Philadelphia(setting up a classic rematch, only this time, the settings are different...)
Championship Games:
New England defeats San Diego(The toughest game to choose of the lot. When it comes down to it, however, New England just has too much weapons this year.)
New Orleans defeats Chicago(New Orleans rights the wrong that happened last year, when THEY should have played Indy instead of Chicago in Super Bowl XLI. Yes, I still contend that they were robbed.)
Super Bowl:
New England defeats New Orleans(The battle of the News. I like New England and Tom Brady to win a fourth super bowl here, just because I get the feeling that Nawlins will have the whole "We're just happy to be here" vibe going on.)
