We Can't Stop was really necessary? I feel like deleting it. Result: a ridiculous length of 4 tracks only. Great ones, but still too damn short for a mixtape.
301 to Paradise has a fun, loose and circus-like atmosphere, Happy Neon is more dream pop with a subtle pbr&b influence. The production on Happy Neon is way more intriguing. Midnight Sun and Born to be Remembered instrumentals feel so ethereal.
Gypsy Star and Red Lights are AMAZING nonetheless.
I don't get her comment about that. This isn't an audio movie in the slightest. It's an 5 track EP with a bunch of covers and an Gypsy/vintage vibe that will follow onto her debut album. But an audio movie, I think not.
it's ok, I like half of the songs, the production is the strong part, I enjoy it much, especially on Gypsy Star.
the mixtape is short, and for me is for a one maybe two evenings, I don't feel like coming back to it after a few days.
Her reasoning behind calling this a mixtape is unclear. How is this any less of an EP than Happy Neon was? It's shorter. I'd be able to enjoy it more if I wasn't busy being disappointed at how short of a listen it is Subtitles is the best imo, Gypsy Star is cute but too corny for me.
I love Neon but ... I don't like it I can save only Some like it hot and Subtitles! Rest of the tracks are not made for me.. Waiting for her real complete album!
