There is absolutely no logic in that. I've had some pretty bad experiences with Britney Spears fans, but I LOVE her music - mainly her older stuff, but I like some of her new songs too - and I'm not ashamed of that in any way.

I think people who blame their hate on Gaga's fans are just trying to hide a deeper reason which they don't want known for whatever reason

Because Little Monsters refuse to entertain the notion that Lady Gaga was helping Perez Hilton to damage Christina Aguilera's reputation so she could break into the mainstream. I posted a time line with actual facts and most of the response from LIttle Monsters was "too long didn't read", "didn't read", etc.

I love how whenever everyone drags Applause for not getting to #1, Monsters pull out the "it's not our fault everyone expected it to go #1!!!!" no one expected a #1 but the monsters, that's why it's so much fun to drag them

Other reasons to dislike Gaga/her fans:
- Gaga acts like her music is revolutionary, when it's just basic pop/edm music, and her fans buy into that.
- when gaga gets slayed by the competition, the Monsters bring up tour receipts to act as if they're superior. Sorry that no one but Monsters buy her music and albums!
- When someone criticizes Gaga, they go insane, as if someone attacked their mother or some s***. It isn't cute Monstas!

I'm not saying this is all Monsters, but most of the, (especially on here) act like she's the Messiah. I used to stan until BTW, because her and her fans became too much for me.

So? Britney cooled down after 1999-2000 and still remained successful. Their career trajectories have been incredibly similar thus far.

the only one with such a high peak In success and popularity is Britney (and now Adele but she is a slightly different case) What Lady Gaga did in 2009/2010/2011 only Britney and Madonna have done that ..
Adele is more like Whitney and Celine Dion's case .. they are legends but not that exciting or shocking like Madonna and Britney

Right now Katy have only Digital sales and Popularity and yall are worshiping her like crazy ... And even her peak in digital (her strongest point) is weaker than Gaga's peak ...

These are the 3 women In POP with the biggest peaks
