I dont care if her vocals sucked, she was giving it her all. Her body is banging, and her personality is radiating. She just so much more likeable. I should start stanning if she carries on.
This performance really nipped it in the bud for me. I am officially convinced that, for me, this is Gaga's best lead single.

Applause translates so effortlessly live, which is rare for me since people like to really mess around with the production in live performances, for the worst. But this really slays.
Her performance was the highlight of the show and every performance after her seemed dull

and comparing this to the Paparazzi performance is pointless because every time she does something live it has a new unique flavor, and the only way people can try to bring this flawless performance down with is comparing it to the Paparazzi performance, but they are free to keep trying.
This performance was FANTASTIC.
The choreography was on point and her vocals were good, too. There was just an essence to the performance that made me really happy. It wasn't too contrived nor too safe. Phenomenal

Except she wasn't doing a retrospective but a comment on how fast the public changes from lovers to haters when it comes to artists
At the beginning, she wore a canvas. She's always described her career as a canvas and how she can morph herself into whoever she wants to be. She's into the idea of shape-shifting. The performance started out as a blank canvas and throughout it she morphed into the different looks she's worn over the years.
She wasn't trying to say "hey look at me and how impressive my career is". She was basically trying to remind us that she will always start as a blank canvas, in a sense, with each new era.
The performance was incredible. Best dancing she's done in a while.
