I think if she does something quite Americanised it might actually help her in the UK. With her success in America it almost validates her as a star and I can see the general public and radio being more willing to embrace her this time around.

I came from Gagadaily and i'm pretty much the only Cher Lloyd there. I lurked here for a while and noticed a lot of Cher Lloyd stans here so I decided to create an account here
Leave it to gain pre-orders about 2 months in advance, "premiere" it on Radio 1 in a couple of weeks time, get herself known in the UK, do the usual TV appearances, perform on Sunday night X Factor Results and then throw it on iTunes so it can fly to #1. No wankey on-air-on-sale ****
I noticed a lot of good articles started coming out once she "made it" in the US. All those websites that always bashed her started being a little nice. so I'm sure that kinda helped her reputation
Teh Daily Mail are always up in her ***** nowadays.
Every comments section turns into some ATRL stanwar praising GOD and dragging Cheryl Cole.
The British press have cooled to her now. The Sun ran a story the other week noting her transition from chav to fashion icon @ the Teen Choice Awards, the Daily Mail are always praising ha & I actually think the viral "It's not me!" vid has kinda made her relevant again.

That's what I'm saying and before that is was actually sad how much they obviously wanted her fail
I do think Cher got fed up with the hate and decided to take a long break from them especially after they threw that bottle at her
I'm sure the people in the UK who previously bashed Cher will realize that she's not this "chav" who always wears Pauls Boutique....I think Cher's new single/album will change a lot of opinion tbh
I really hope this does well chart wise.. I can see it going at least top 20, even top 10 on iTunes.. she has the fanbase to get it that high.. its just whether or not radio will support her this time round. nevertheless, I'm just so glad the new era is finally starting, Sticks & Stones was dragged out for so long.. 2 days to go
