Here are three more singles...
29. Daniel Powter - Bad Day
"You tell me your life's been way off line, you're falling to pieces everytime..."
Without a doubt, Bad Day was one of the most succesful songs of the year. You could hear the song in the radio all day, and the song will not get old. This song is a piano pop with a big hook, it's difficult to not like this song. The piano melody, Daniel's pleasant voice, and of course the easy to remember chorus; were factors that make this song a big hit. This is one of those songs that you only need to hear once or twice to find yourself singing along.
28. Keyshia Cole - Love
"Never knew what I was missing, but I knew once we start kissin'..."
Keyshia Cola brings to the music scene, one of the best R&B ballads of the year. Even tough the song was a hit in radio, I think she is very underrated. The vocals and the lyrics are the best thing about this song. Her powerful voice and her dramatic tone, make this song almost addictive. The video isn't so bad either, it has a plotline, and it makes the song a little more interesting. Hopefully, we will see more of Keyshia Cole next year.
27. Taking Back Sunday - Makedamnsure
"I just wanna break you down so badly, in the worst way..."
I didn't like this song that much when it came out, but it slowly started growing on me. Their lyrics along with the lead singer's vocals, are things that you rarely find in a good rock song this time. Taking Back Sunday is a great band, and I'm sure they'll be very succesfull this year, as their new single Liar is slowly growing on me as well. Other good thing about this song is that it never gets old.
