I agree wholeheartedly. When I heard Roar I knew it was over for her.

I never said Lady Gaga didn't have good lyrics, but judging Katy on the plastic bag line is as ignorant as judging Lady Gaga on 'skeleton guns in the attic' and whatever mess is usually in her songs.

what's your next excuse?
and now the GP is stupid but when Gaga was slaying a few years ago they used to be smart? you monsters are so dumb

I'm talking about the article, which is referring to the fact that Roar is #1 over Applause being #2.
I'm a monster because I defend Gaga and like her new single?

I disagree. Katy is global in her own right but her single didn't top as many coutries as Gaga did. Y'all can make fun of Applause topping random small countries with like five sales but she's doing well in major markets. #2 in the US is nothing to criticize. Japan, the biggest music market, will also stan hard as well.

Which still, no matter what way you spin it, does not make sense. The inclusion of this comparison does nothing to propel his point of Gaga losing. He could have easily provided the hard numbers for the audio video, but he chose not to in order to cheaply back up his thesis.

dsds;; at the comments of US not being important anymore.
Are we all not on a forum that is based in the United States of America?
Are we all not speaking English?
Are we all not obsessed primarily with the Hot 100?

The problem is that the anticipation with gaga is bigger than the actual event... and if she wants to be pretentious then make it worthwhile and release damn good music like Bowie, but not come up with something anyone could have made.
