read what I wrote how is the attitude "get over it" when the country has multiple national holidays, history books, curriculas, and programs specifically targeted to help the african-american community and promote civil rights "get Over it" is hyperbole, and you know it.

Sooooooo, in spite of whatever continued instutionalized racism persists, blatant discrimination is seen, grave inequalities etc., we Black Americans are just supposed to just shut up and be grateful since we have MLK day and finally have basic constitutional rights?
