Holy crap Ellie is perfect. She never puts out anything less than superb.
This song is a much better fit for Ellie than Leona based on both versions.
Even after hearing Leona's version, I still prefer Ellie's. It just fits her voice so much better. She gives it an edge that Leona's just doesn't have. I don't mind Leona, but her voice makes this song sound very generic.
I hope this flops just to remind her she can't put out generic leftovers. They could release any other song on Halcyon instead of "Burn". Bring back the days of Fraser T Smith and Starsmith. "Your Biggest Mistake" >>> everything.
