People are way too hard on Selena. Her performance wasn't even bad. It's like they hold her to some high standard when we all know (including herself) that she is very limited. She does great for what she can do.
This was pretty mediocre, but that's an A+ for Selena. Her vocals and dancing have improved from absolute **** to mediocre, so I understand why her stans are creaming themselves.
Seriously, tho. Her pitch was all over the place 20 seconds into the performance where she was just sitting. I only cut some slack on the bridge because she did do more than just some hand/arm choreography and walking. She actually moved a little. I like the improvement though.
And Selena stans need to calm down. Demi stans aren't trolling just because someone who happens to be a Demi stan doesn't like the performance. It's a fair critique. Now if Selena gave a Beyonce caliber performance or 91' Mariah vocal, and they came for her, then you'd have a point.
And let's not act like Demi hasn't ever danced and sang live. She did for the entire Camp Rock 2 tour. And comparing the first (or any tbh) Heart Attack performance to this is ridiculous because context makes a ton of difference. And one song requires 2.5 octaves to sing while the other barely requires 1. Let's not...

Anyway I just saw the performance and it was indeed cute, but I think the choreography was a little sloppy & Selena's dress did NOT do her any favors. Her vocals were average except for that really weak start of the second verse, but overall it was a solid B/B- performance.
People need to stop being so harsh. Selena hasn't done a ton of LIVE performances first off, and she performed a brand new song for the first time in front of millions of viewers!! Idk about you but I would **** my pants! Selena did great! He dancing was perfect but her vocals we a little shacky, but under those conditions it's completely reasonable. And Selena stans are right, most of the criticism is coming from 2 stans bases who are just pressed their fav didn't get the gig.

This is THE most obnoxious excuse by far. Because we all know Selena isn't musically talented, we should give her a pat on the back for trying? Enough. Someone who has three albums and has done multiple tours should be able to perform well, and sadly that isn't the case.

I LOVE THE CHOREOGRAPHY . IT SLAYED THE PERFORMANCE!!!the vocals were kinda messed up...can't tell i was expecting more from her,she's not amazing live.But i'm still waiting for an acoustic version,so she can sing it easily.
Demi stans ran in here quickly her vocals were quite good overall. She was shaky from nerves and she had a lot of dancing (which was great) overall a good performance.
The vocals weren't bad, she's improved a lot since her last live performances. It was her first time singing the song live, I'm sure she'll get more comfortable.
