"Scream & Shout" is far more successful on the charts than "Telephone" was, but "Telephone" garnered more attention due to featuring two of the biggest female artist of their respective generations. Whereas "S&S" only features good sis Britney, who is pretty much the sole reason for the songs success. Kudos to her!

Unless I’m reading wrong, the poll isn’t about which single helped the artist sell more albums or the alleged impact of “Telephone.” Everyone knows that will.i.am is a flop on his own and will likely be a one-hit-wonder. His upcoming album has yet to be released after like three years of pushbacks. The thread is about which song is the bigger hit and “Scream & Shout” is the obvious winner.

Why would Britney make Rolling Stone’s Best Songs of 2010 list when she released no new material whatsoever that year? “Till The World Ends” was ranked No. 3 on their Best Songs of 2011 the next year when she actually released something -- higher than Gaga and Beyoncé’s version of “Telephone,” which failed to make the main list the year before -- so I don't see what's funny. The fact that Britney’s demo of “Telephone” made the list speaks volumes (I find the demo terrible, btw.)

Since when, being a "featured act" is bad? In that case, you just insulted Bey, since she was featured in Telephone, where Gaga served as lead. This is the first feature (outside charity singles) that she has ever done (not including KFed because that was a bone for her husband). Casino act is bad, then we must come for other musical legends as well, but I highly doubt you want to go there. Reality, blah, I can give that, but at least she got paid top dollars for it.



Needless to say, some of you did the most. Is Telephone the better song? Most definitely! Does Telephone have more hype and imact around it? Certainly! Is Telephone the bigger hit? Yes, but only till the end of the year (at the latest). Scream & Shout has outpeaked Telephone in nearly every place with an official chart. Has spent more weeks at number one in head-to-head on charts. Has out certified/equaled Telephone in all, but three countries. Let's get real people!

Edit: Almost forgot about S&M (Make that 2 official songs she was "featured" on released as singles.
