Erm.does anybody have a theory why trl is not on fridays anymore?it kind of getting annoying for me they have been doing it since the fall last year.i thought they would return like did last year but i guess i was wrong.if they keep doing this video are going to retired this way.they have shorten the retirement age or return trl to friday.something has to happen.this is getting rediculious(sp?).

I've been to P.O.D.'s messageboard, trust me, they could be #1 on Monday...like someone said earlier, you never know. They're planning to upset both Mariah and Madonna fans on their retirement day, and if that happens, I'll be laughing so hard.

You guys aren't going to like this but I think Ashlee has a VERY good chance at retiring. Once Madonna and Mariah retire the only competition she has for #1 is POD and they ain't going to be on the top for long. Plus Ashlee will be the senior video on TRL. So I am hoping she retires

TRL is not fixed anymore whoever you are. Just because Ashlee is not #1 doesn't mean anything. Although I like Ashlee (I really like anything that comes out) you really need to stop with TRL's fixed crap. Yes Madonna or MiMi will be #1 on Monday, that's only because of the battle with their fans voting, not because TRL will randomly pick one to take it from the other. Ya'll can try hard to get POD to #1 but it won't work only because of the fight for the divas.

In 2001, P.O.D. were a few votes away from beating out 'N Sync's "Pop" on its retirement day. I remember this correctly, and if you think I'm talking out of my ass, click here. If their fans were able to accomplish that, especially against a group who--back then--sold more in their first week then TEOM and COADF in their first weeks COMBINED, then I don't see how they wouldn't be able to at least beat out one of the divas on Monday.
(Yes, I know "Alive" was a massive hit and "Goodbye for Now" is not as popular [yet,] but hey... you never know.)
Oh, and count me in as well; P.O.D. got my 4 phone votes until Monday's show with some extra internet votes. I want Monday to be a memorable day for rock music on TRL--no other groups have had more than 3 videos hit #1, and Simple Plan/Good Charlotte don't count, sorry...P.O.D. breaking this record on the day "Hung Up" AND "Don't Forget about Us" retire, in my opinion, would be astonishing. Let's make it happen!

I see where are you going now, that's pretty big for POD to possibly take over NSYNC. So now I know there is a pretty big chance, but still you must think about it, Mariah and Madonna. There are so many little teenies who will be doing the same thing you'll be doing all weekend long to see one of them @ #1 on Monday. We'll just have to wait and see.
