I hate his attitude and stuff like that but he's a fine singer.
His song writing skills are lacking though, and there is no doubt his looks are half of the reason he is famous.

Besides, people shouldn't hate someone because of their fan base. Especially if it's a large fan base. That makes it harder to control and it has such an array of diverse individuals that it's hard to avoid the annoying ones.

no he doesnt!! i mean general stan hate, or reasonable hate for someone not liking his songs and stuff is fine. but hating him coz he might be gay/sounds like a girl .. and pretty much the most baseless reasons ever.. its just really cruel!
his attitude seems rude now, does anyone think it maybe coz all of the hate he got when he was starting out.. he acts macho maybe coz for the first 3 years of his career he was called gay by pretty much everyone around the world!! all this hate can have a really bad effect on a 16 year old... seriously!! no one deserves that sort of hate ever!! i wouldnt wish that for my worst enemy tbh...

I really agree with this, and this should apply not just to him but to any artist out there. It's one thing to judge him on music but to get beyond that is really uncalled for
