Geffen suffered a merge with Interscope, of course not all the Geffen artists were signed by Interscope, the same happened with Snoop Dogg, he's not an Interscope artist but he's still with Geffen alone. There a lot of Geffen acts that didn't get a sign with Interscope.

The thing is i don't think she's working independent because working with Linda Perry is not a easy thing to catch, also i'm so intrigued to know if the songs she did with John Shanks and John Feldmann made the final cut of the record.

Well she's listed officially as an Universal artist so I guess that confirms she's not independent though?

Yes but Universal is kind of the big global laber, in the US she needs to be in those labels under Universal, i'm sure she's still with Polydor in UK.
