Yeah, the show's over and people are still talking about it. SEVEN pages for a discount, a discount that many other artists also receiving, including Madonna who is also selling poorly in Brasil.

I live in Rio, guys... The local media said the estimated number of people who attended was about 30,000. (the capacity was up to 80,000 people roughly).

It would be nice comparing the Queen of Pop's and Lady Gaga's tour gross + attendance in Brazil.

It's actually a massive compliment that people compare Gaga to Madonna instead of, you know, her own contemporaries. No other pop girl is compared to legends of music as much as Gaga is. It's amazing!

The park can hold 90,000 people. That is not the capacity you need to "sell out". You can sell as many or as little tickets as you want/can because it's an open park.

That's exactly what i was thinking!! it's a huge honor for her to be compared to madonna in the touring field after just 4 years in the business!!! 
i mean the other fanbases cant even risk themselves to compare touring grosses 
especially in south america where their faves are unable to fill arenas, the last who tried it was britney with her "Femme Fatale tour" and it flopped hard

but 30,000 is the number that gaga's promo team have spread around though. I heard about 15,000. one newspaper indeed is mentioning 10,000.

yeah but she sold 100,000 in colombia in a few hours which is a record and is doing great everywhere else in latin america. it's just one out of two stadium shows in rio that isn't doing as as amazing as predicted ( and she did very well in 2008, when she sold 203,000 tickets..)
but didnt LG sell like 100,000 with her monster ball in rio the other time? (that's what i keep hearing)

Just more proof that wherever you're getting your information from (Gaga hate sites) is uninformed. This. Is. Her. First. Time. In. South. America. It doesn't matter how many people she played for last time (if there was a last time). Just like Madonna's show in Ireland flopped compared to the last time she played.
It's always "compare Madonna" with you Madonna fans. Do you seriously not get what kind of compliment that is? You're comparing the touring #s of a relative new girl to the #s of someone who has consistently broken tour records. For people who claim to dislike Gaga and try to always hate on her, you sure do give her a lot of credit. And then you have the nerve to turn around and say she won't become a legend.
