That moment when all the worst elements of pop music come together to form a truly awful song. The first track leaving us is proof that everything LMFAO touches turns to crap. (See also: Madonna's balance.)
The second #1 bubbling under smash of Fergie's career is an aggressively ugly collaboration with a washed-up rock legend. Embarrassing for all involved.
As reggaeton took its dying breaths of mainstream relevancy, Fergie, at the height of her popularity, helped Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee get one final chart appearance. Unfortunately, the song is plagued by a complete lack of appealing hooks; not even a reference to snatching wigs could save it in this rate.
Though she was coming off the massive success of her debut era, Fergie's presence didn't much help Nelly's floundering career. This club banger, in which he is completely upstaged by the Dutchess, became his first lead single to miss the top ten of the Hot 100.
In this well-intentioned, if slightly bland, effort benefiting cancer research, Fergie tells listeners, "You got it in you/Find it within." Unfortunately for Fergs, all that the cold-hearted voters of ATRL found within was low scores.
