Song is clearly a hit... but I am not so sure "the old way" in selling the package (when you would hear the song on radio for a month before it got available for purchase) can lean towards stability once the novelty has worn off.
But then it's a new era single so it will eventually stay very popular rather than not.
It's an interesting strategy by his label for sure in contemporary times.
