Idk why people are saying only "hasbeens" do this. I think the landscape of reality singing competitions has changed especially changed especially with the judges.
Now, it's more of a business opportunity. The judges get ad campaigns, millions of dollars, get to promote their singles, videos, perfumes, fashion line etc.
It's less about "hasbeen" and more about GETTIN MONEY!
Blake Shelton, Adam Levine,Cee-Lo, Steven Tyler, Jessie J, Will.I.Am, Christina not hasbeens. U can say Christina hasn't had a hit album in years but she still was relevant either through good or bad circumstances.
