Ever heard of an image change? From pop n b, to full hip hop/R&B,rock etc etc?
Rated R was soooooooooooooooo different, where people couldnt connect to the album. It was/is an emotional record and doesnt make a click by everyone.
Russion Roulette was the lead single, which was different than every other song which was in the top 10 back then. It wasnt a strong lead single, neither was it commercial. It was epic and amazing, but not commercial.
Do i have to explain that more?
I don't think so.
PS: Rated R sold over 3m copies!
