This isn't the first time he has lashed out at people in the music industry on behalf of Gaga. He puts his art on a high pedestal, just like Gaga, and is pretty aggressive when defending it. It does tarnish her image as he is connected to her.
However, since Gaga rarely responds to criticism from her peers, it's kind of entertaining to see at least someone shading back.

It's rather hypocritical to be sitting here claiming Madonna "booked" Gaga for copying Express Yourself while simultaneously stanning for artists who use Dr. Luke, who copies nearly exactly the same formula for each of his songs for essentially the same demographic to lap it up and stan for the same 3 beats and call it "slaying."
The same way it's hypocritical for monsters to drag Madonna for being unclassy and rude, and to then get their kiii's from some weak, ageist comment by the man who helped create Highway Unicorn. Y'all need to get it together.
Anyway, it's too bad showing your thoughts about a singer in Twitter. Everybody can see it.
