Are you expecting this?
Irish band The Script is back with their sophomore album, Science and Faith. I really think that its a big step from their debut album. Unlike their first effort, I love all the tracks. Their first single, For The First Time really sounds like a hit because of its production, lyrics, and the way Danny O'Donoghue sang it. Since Tumblr is in right now, thanks to that song, hipsters have another quote to put in their hipster photos. The song is about a couple who is still want to hold on despite of their problems like no jobs, hopeless dreams, etc. The second single, Nothing, is another song that people who loved their singles will be satisfied. The song is a minor hit from them. It's about a guy getting drunked and wanting to back from her ex. Their third single, If You Ever Come Back, is one of the best highlight of the album. The chorus can touch the emotional hearts of teenagers. I'm so glad that they released that song. Their fourth single, Science & Faith, can be a crowd pleaser but for me, it sounds like "its strictly for albums only" but the lyrics is great, using scientific and religious words to symbolize love. Unlike most of the tracks, This=Love shows the importance of love and how they function properly in our every day lives. Dead Man Walking, my favorite track in the album, contains a man's despair and how he is heartbroken when she saw his former girl having a new one and he feels like he is dead inside. Opposite of that track is Walk Away, a track that begs a girl to not commit a relationship to him since he will make her to live like in hell. The US edition have the remix with B.o.B and it is really good. The last track, Exit Wounds, is about asking his girl why did he broke his heart and he felt like he had been seriously injured. I don't even expect that I will enjoy this album too much since I'm not really a The Script fan but this album made me on of their fans. The albums is all about love and as a teenager, I can somehow relate to most of their lyrics. I really hope they can find more success not only in Ireland but in the whole world.
Last Year's #02: B.o.B. - The Adventures of Bobby Ray

Top 10 Movies (#08)
We need to talk about this movie.
 | We Need To Talk About Kevin
Starring: Tilda Swinton, Ezra Miller, John C. Reilly
Director: Lynn Ramsay
Writers: Lynn Ramsay, Ronny Kinnear (Based on the book "We Need To Talk About Kevin" by Lionel Shriver)
Rotten Tomatoes: 83%
IMDb: 7.8
You may not heard this movie but I bet you will once the presenter announced Tilda Swinton as one of the nominees of Best Actress. We Need To Talk About Kevin is a psychological thriller drama film about a mother who deals with her son's crime, a killing spree in a high school. Eva (Swinton) is a travel agent who loves traveling around the world. She met her spouse, Franklin (Reilly) and had a boy named Kevin (Miller). Since Kevin is a toddler, she already showed rebellion against her mother. He only show companionship with his father. When he was child, he tempered his mother so much that she push him against the wall, causing fracture which leaves a scar. He show his hatred towards his mother like ruining her room, cursing, and mocking her. Later in the film, he is shown that he is a great archer and he is a sociopath. The movie is really
extraordinary, harsh, and will really let you taste the good flavor of movies that are untouched by Hollywood. It will really make you hate the antagonist. That child is like an offspring of Satan. Tilda Swinton gave a fantastic performance. Currently, she is my bet to win the coveted Best Actress. I might change my mind since I haven't seen My Week With Marilyn and The Iron Lady. So is Ezra Miller. I felt that John C. Reilly is a miscast. The end will really make you think why did he all did those things. If you want some mind boggling thriller drama, watch this.
