Till The World Ends
Femme Fatale
Quote:
Britney's come back had many surprises. "World" might have become my favorite Brit song, and the best of it's kind in 2011. Fresh, catchy, dancy. Britney in her best moment during the FF era. She's fresh, she's dancing & partying with no cares, like she has nothing to lose. The chorus makes me wanna hit the clubs. She sounds more confident and more mature & the beat is sick! The Music Video isn't something innovative but it's still amazing. Britney ruled 2011 I'll be singing this on 12/21/2012 for sure...
Favorite Part:"If you feel it let it happen, keep on dancin’ till the world ends…"

Someone Like You
21
Quote:
It's true... Adele owns 2011! "Someone Like You" speaks straight to my heart and makes me feel things I tried to forget and remember memories I wanted to hide. I'm really impressed when a song makes me cry and Adele's song made me cry many, many, many times. The lyrics are outstanding, her vocals out of this world. Full of passion, describes the sorrow when you break up, describes the pain you feel and your need to be optimist, to find someone other... Also the performance at the Brit's was FLAWLESS. The music video is good but quite boring and the duration of the song is very big (and makes it a little boring...)!
Favorite Part:
"Don't forget me I beg... I remember you said: Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead..."

Pumped Up Kicks
Torches
Quote:
The surprise of the Year. An new indie pop boy band emerged in music industry and everything changed. "Pumped Up Kicks" and it's cheerful melody made me smile a lot this year. They lyrics are weird, but I love those whistling parts and the music is awesome. This was the best single from a newcomer released this year and it was actually the best indie pop song of the year. I also love this song because it was a part of my summer! I think it's a masterpiece! One of the best releases of 2011! The music video is beautiful...
Favorite Part:
"All the other kids with the pumped up kicks, You better run, better run faster than my bullet"

Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)
Teenage Dream
Quote:
It's Katy Perry... Oh Well! "T.G.I.F." was the only song from "Teenage Dream" I wanted to be released as a single when I first listened to the album. It's the ultimate "Friday Night Anthem". Joyful, happy, dancy, my favorite song to sing on a party. This is the definition of a "catchy song". The saxo part is clearly one of the best parts in the song! And here it comes... THE MUSIC VIDEO! Funny as hell, innocent, crazy. Rebecca, Glee characters, Corey Feldman, Kenny G & Debbie Gibson made the video one of the best -and on of my favs- of 2011 (and probably the funniest!). We should not forget that with this song Katy tied MJ's record! "Friday" is crazy, it's teenage, it's fresh!
Favorite Part:
I should post the whole lyrics... I can't choose my fav part
