I’m a big fan of Avril Lavigne and I was hoping that the long-awaited follow-up to The Best Damn Thing would be her comeback. Sadly, it wasn’t the case, as it had mixed reviews and mediocre sales. It’s not her best album but it’s not her worst album either. Still, the album does have some upbeat songs such as What The Hell and Smile.
This album is a mixture of upbeat tunes and sappy ballads. It’s clearly one of the best debut albums around.
As Britney albums go, this is clearly a very grown-up album by one of the world’s pop princesses. It still boasts pop tunes, but with a mature tone.
Next post: Albums from #03 - #02 and I’ll start posting the top ten movies of 2011.
