I haven't really kept up w/ Gaga but wasn't Edge of Glory a hit? I know Y&I is peaking now (it would be one of the only two gaga songs I like that flops...the other being Judas ), but it did well I thought.

Meh, I don't see what Katy releasing a remix to get to #1 has to do with her undeniable radio success. "Last Friday Night" was #1 on the Pop airplay and overall airplay charts before the release of the remix and reached over 130M AI, just like all of her singles this era.
I did go OT but my point is Everyone has been average at radio compared to Adele in some way, shape or form.
Britney has had a very average era as well though... I would say she isn't really getting any more radio support than Lady GaGa.
Katy & ADELE are the it girls on US radio. Rihanna is too with the right single.
This is probably Britney's most successful era radio wise. Britney hasn't ever been a radio force. This is the era where she has seen possibly her biggest radio support. Let's not confuse her below average album sales with her RADIO support, which is what we're talking about. She has done well.
But what does it mean when you promote the hell out of your album for a full year, have five #1s to push it, and it still can't break 4m WW even after all that time?

But Gaga was the highest female on Forbes amd has outsold Katy with just 'The Fame'. It must suck to be Katy and be in Gagas shadow. and Gaga hasn't even toured yet. She's gonna get demolished. Again. For like a 3rd year in a row.
