It's stupid to call out critics since it's their job to criticize. Even the troll ones shouldn't be called out by artists. But artists have always hated and called out critics. And they've actually attacked them, which despite what the thread title says this is not. Idk why Britney stans are so riled up. People are taking what Gaga said out of context. In essence, she's basically asking why people are allowing their obvious personal bias and vendettas get in the way of actual criticism. When you're constantly hateful and negative, it becomes obvious that you're only doing so because you have a problem with the person you're critiquing. A professional, like so many of you claim this woman is, does not let personal biases get in the way of their own professionalism. Lady Gaga was not attacking this woman. She was simply wondering what the point is in being negative all the time.
Some of you are doing exactly what Gaga was calling this woman out for: allowing personal biases and vendettas get in the way of logical thinking. Re-read what Gaga said. She makes plenty of incredibly valid points. Gaga hardly ever talks about her critics and she is critiqued every single day. She's allowed to stick up for herself every now and then.
Gaga is uncensored and unafraid. She's already taken on the music critics for their non-jounalist manners. It's all good that she's putting a critical light on fashion critics. She's asking a simple question . She'll be attacked for asking the question but not get an answer to the question. Keep it up Gaga. Put them on notice. Let them know someone is watching them and will call them into question. I'm sure V Magazine will get a lot mail and calls demanding that Gaga be removed as a commentator.

Critics are still criticisable. I don't see why Gaga can't criticise Cathy with valid reasons that she believes, especially in formal/public communication.
I'm interested to hear Cathy's response. I hope it won't be something lame and stupid like "I'm in this industry for so much longer than her" or "I'm 10 times better than her", blah blah blah, because that would sound too familiar.
