Well, Beyonce hasn't produced a hit, and people were expecting her to do Bionic numbers (which was ridiculous anyway). Britney had a hit and has a much bigger history of opening up with 500k+. Beyonce's first week figures are decent, not bad.

Honestly, considering that her album leaked 3 weeks before its release this is pretty damn impressive.
