Who else is a better overall performer? I still think Jennifer Hudson slays her vocally, but Beyonce can out-perform her by miles.

Beyonce sings live and dances. The only other person who does that well is Gaga, but I havent really found any of her BTW era performances good.

Besides Gaga and Bey the only person who is left is Rihanna, but she doesnt come close because she still has a ton of work left to do. And I said Rihanna because she is the only other Pop star who sings and dances live.

When Christina learns to tame her annoying habit of damn-near constant vocal acrobatics and oversinging, then you can argue that she's a better singer than Bey.


Honestly, I have a really tough time trying to place any other contemporary pop artist over her when it comes to singing and performing. Yet I feel like it might be an overstatement to say that she is THE ultimate singer/performer of this generation. Oh ****, I'm torn. I feel awful for even questioning this.

Musician = No.

Granted, there are better vocalists out there. But like someone said before, Beyonce has a perfect balance between great vocals and great performance.
As a musician...her songs are alright. They're not amazing by any means. But she performs them very well. She's a great live vocalist/dancer and she captivates the audience extremely well.
So having said that, I believe she is one of the ultimate singer/performers of our generation.

Jeez, Pink is an amazing performer too.
And quite frankly, I prefer Pink miles over Beyonce, but that's just because her pop/rock style and rock star performance quality is more my cup of tea than dancing and pop.
Beyonce may be great, but so is Pink. No need to laugh at someone suggesting they prefer Pink's performances.
But again, I will not take away from Bey at all. She's amazing at what she does too.

Bey has the whole package...the voice, the dance moves, she gives you raw talent and doesn't hide behind costumes and theatrics.
