Friendly reminder that she never filed a criminal lawsuit to begin with. It was a civil suit aimed at getting out of her contract. And refused the chance to release under another label while fulfilling her contractual obligation to SONY. Very suspect.
Kesha wants to fulfill her contractual obligations so she can leave on her own accord. The only way to do that is to release music. And I plan on supporting her through it.
It sucks that you people want to make jokes about how she "lied" and how she "only wanted money". You have NO idea what survivors go through on a daily basis. She put herself on the line, bared her soul and was basically told because she had no physical proof, it doesn't matter that she feels unsafe and has to work with her alleged predator, just deal with it. That's unconscionable and I wouldn't wish that on my WORST enemy.
The fact that Luke refuses to let her go, or even allow her to BUY herself out of her contract speaks to his character as a human. She doesn't want to work for him, she doesn't want to work with him, but screw what she wants -- it's all about control and dominance. Typical alleged predator behavior. It's disgusting.
May she be safe and allowed to release music to end this unhealthy deal and set her free.

Some of you guys are absolutely ridiculous, how in the world does this mean she lied? It means she's out of options, it's becoming more of a hassle and costing more money to continue on with the case when she unfortunately doesn't have solid evidence (as one rarely does with these things), and she's better off just hurrying to complete her contract so she can get out.
It was a huge mistake to file the suit in the first place. She had zero solid evidence and it ruined her relationship with the label. Dr Luke will probably continue producing under ghost names and all is well for him, but she is left with legal costs, this mess on her record, and honestly I have a hard time seeing her rebound from this.

Well, you haters should've researched for more info before worrying about your faves because the lawsuit in New York still continues.
Hopefully if any of this music does see light of day, Luke will do the most to not promo it etc. All the things Kesha said would happen if she tried to release through him. That way she'll have more of an argument in trying to get out the contract
