I like this more chilled out sound, Sadist and Chloroform are good examples of it.
The moments where they deviate from this are cluttered and not good (Teach Her How To Hunt, for example)
Enth doesn't actually punch quite as you would expect from the snippet
Frail kinda slays now tbh
I don't really understand why they chose to preview the album with Concrete, it's good but not an obvious standout, unlike Char/Fleece. I would have chosen a quieter song
Edith doesn't have the same prescence as Alice but it's kinda good bc she's not really trying to be her? They sound very different to me, her vocals have a different feel which is good. I like how they kept the core sound but it's now based on more repetitive punches than long-form synths.
This doesn't have as many true knockout moments as I, but it doesn't really decline towards the end, so it's a bit better.
Kept is the album's resident almost-pop hit, like Courtship Dating/Celestica/Not In Love/Wrath Of God/Sad Eyes.
Deicide/Their Kindness Is Charade works a lot better as the album closer than a standalone.
We have the same ranking, though I need a few more listens before I can be 100% sure Amnesty is their 2nd best
(II) is untouchable. timeless electronic classic. Their other albums have quite a lot of weak moments
And I agree with most things you said, you put it very nicely
