She's not irrelevant in France considering that she is Gold there, most Western pop stars aren't heavily impacting Japan, that leaves Germany and Italy from the top 10 and those 2 combined don't even comprise 11% of the global music market.
And yet in the next breath, you'll uphold an act that is more popular in those relatively minor markets but far less relevant (and in some cases, irrelevant) in the single market that makes up a whopping 33% of the global music market share as "global" simply because of 2 or 3 additional minor markets?
Like I said, this **** gets real stupid, real fast.

Ranking and coming in 3rd and 5th doesn't matter much when the top two countries alone make up more than 50% of the global market share and the remainder of said market is distributed among 18 other countries. 9% and 5% are minor shares even having chronological placement at 3rd and 5th place overall.
