Okay, let me NAWT be angry and horribly disgusted with the awful study that Swag posted and post a calm and simple explanation of all of the fallacies that's occurring in front of me right now. I'm currently doing my thesis on detergent use and it's honestly pathetic that someone would come for SLS ha weave when the ****ing fleet that ya'll at night for your bootyhole is more carcinogenic.
And note, I'm not a CEO of a sodium laurel sulfate production company so I have no reason to care, but the fear mongering and stupidity I've seen really hurts my scientific heart.
1.) The link to the
source has no other references listed on it. No receipts whatsoever. No, I repeat, NO site that is scientifically relevant has no references anywhere. Instead, they have random scientists name written like they're famous figures. Naw bitch, no references, no scientific accuracy. Plus, the site looks basic as hell and it's actually a raw ingredients store. Shady as Wendy.

2.) Sodium laurel sulfate itself is a detergent that is used in shampoo because of its ability to break up oil in ya'll greasy ass hair. It is derived from coconut oil used not only in shampoo, but also toothpaste, shaving creams, lush bath bombs and whatnot. Unless ya'll want to smell and look not kewt, go ahead and try to avoid them. It is already everywhere and you have interacted with it all your short lives.
3.) SDS is simply not carcinogenic. I've been looking for sources that Swag has posted, but I've seen no scientific journals, no research, no testing. Just him going on about how many articles there are. He hasn't even posted one. I'll post below journal articles/research about it below and it probably took me less than 5 minutes.

So finally, how ****ing dare you Swag for posting this ****. You are one of the reasons why the gp is uninformed and you are single handedly bringing science down with your stream of ********.
Here are a list of more carcinogenic stuff from cancer.org
