Yeah. The more you watch, the more it starts to make sense. It's a bit overwhelming at first because you're being introduced to 8 main characters and all of their supporting characters, plus the weird sci-fi stuff on top of that.

I'm 7 episodes into this, and it is fantabulous. By far one of the better TV shows of any genre in the last 5 years or so. A slow, character driven, cerebral tapestry. Wonderful! Thank goodness Netflix exists to give this show an outlet, because this would have been canceled before the 4th episode aired had it been on a network.

I'm surprised that all the early reviews seem negative. My conclusion is that the people who've been reviewing the show are too stupid to appreciate shows this good, which is the case for most people in general. I saw one reviewer who'd seen the 1st 3 episodes talk about Nomi's brain thing as if they thought that **** was real when by then we'd seen so much sketchy **** go down with her being detained there that it was pretty obvious something was afoot. Like, obviously a show did not go through the entire process of BECOMING a show and being released if it is legitimately incomprehensible and actually poorly done. Sorry a show exists that makes you use your brain and doesn't spoon-feed you everything.

The psychic orgy in episode 6 was everything and I am waiting excitedly for people to start writing a bunch of ****y fanfics for this show and putting them online.

The end of episode 7 made it seem like things are seriously heating up, I'm so excited!

Can we talk about Nomi and her GF banging on the doors of neighboring apartments to be let in after fleeing from that guy? What good does that do you? You'll just get penned in! Run for the stairs and head down, dummies!

The gay guys' story is SOOOOO CUTE, and Lito and Wolfgang are SOOOO HOOOOOTTT!!! YASS at the full frontal male nudity!

The Indian lady is boring so far, I hope they give her more to do than worry about her marriage and have a romance with Wolfgang.

I watched the first episode of this last night, and I wasn't impressed. The premise is messy, the acting is a bit dodgy and the characters are drawn so poorly and obviously; introspective girl into her music more than other people, Indian girl against upcoming marriage but complying due to her family's wishes, a German criminal, etc. Yay for diversity though?

There were other problems too, but I might give it another chance based on this thread - though Christ, you'd swear y'all didn't have penises the way you get excited seeing some.
