Guys, is there some official version of Turn My Swag On out ?
I mean, I know she covered it but I don't know if that was a live/studio version... Maybe some CDQ's available !? Does anyone know ?
As far as I know, there's a studio version, which is kinda rough, though (192 kbps). I mean those Pollow's shoutouts. I remember Soulja Boy was going to release an official remix with Keri and other female rappers but then it was scrapped.
let's make this thread interesting.. with some news.. :P
she was in NYC the last week tapping something for FuseTV (top 100 killer collabos) and also at MTV working as ambassador of 'staying alive' foundation
Hi! I’m Keri Hilson and I am delighted to announce that I am going to be walking for the first ever MTV Staying Alive Foundation team at the AIDS Walk NYC 2012 on Sunday 20 May.
As an Ambassador of the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, I’m doing this 10km sponsored walkathon around Central Park to help raise money and awareness towards the work of the charity. The Foundation supports and develops young leaders all over the world who are tackling the HIV epidemic in their communities.
I’m trying to get 100 people to join me on May 20th and take part in the AIDS Walk New York. If you would like to be part of this amazing event then click here and join me before the deadline on May 9th.
If you would just like to donate then please click here.
her last interview sneak peak that rap-up posted from Fuse seems to be great.. i hope that was just a sneak peak.. i need more than 3 minutes!
Quote:
Keri Hilson sits down with her therapist, or rather an interviewer from Fuse, for “an incredibly intimate interview.” The “Pretty Girl Rock” singer recalls being fired from her job at a restaurant, the last lie she told, the body part she’s most proud of (get your mind out of the gutter), and the worst breakup she’s ever had, which inspired her upcoming third album.
“That’s why it’s midtempo,” explains Keri of the follow-up to 2010’s No Boys Allowed. “That’s why it’s emotional and that’s why it will probably be some of my best work yet.”
She also shares some of her least favorite dreams. “I have these recurring dreams about the end of the world and they’re very, very vivid and very realistic,” she said. “There’s always the sky going black and you’re watching it happen. Another dream it was like a flood. Another dream is there were so many people killing people in the streets, women and children included. … Another time it was UFOs and they were fighting above us and we just knew that this means it’s over.”
back to 2007 .. do you remeber the envy life shoot?
in the background we could listen to 2 unknown songs.. i wish keri ir timbaland would release those demos as a mixtape or so.. it's so sad that those recorded songs will be shelved for life.. :__
so.. she run the NYC aids walk.. some members of the #kerikrew walked with her also, that seemed to be fun.. ohh.. i would love to live in the states when that happens..
A rumour: What’s so ironic is that there’s a track on her latest album called “Stuck In the Elevator of Love” and she literally did get stuck in the elevator. No Joke! I’m dead serious! Go check it out!
