WAIT lol so you will stay praising the Longevity of those old singles and pay dust to her other singles like the ones on BTW ? and please don't say she didn't promote them .. I was 1 on 1 with the BTW ERA .. she REALLY promoted the singles .. while look at Unapologetic's singles .. i can count the promo performances / interviews on one hand

Yes Rihanna's singles are slaying this era, but keep in mind that it wasn't always the case.
Rated R era, California King Bed,...
Gaga's floppest era did better than most of Rihanna's eras. Imagine the slayage with ARTPOP ?

1. Actually be able to sell albums
2. Not have your label be more invested in your music than you are - that goes to say actually write and get involved in the producing(during the process, not pick and choosing what you like, aka "executive producer")
3. Be innovative, assertive, and fresh.
4. Stop with the drugs on instagram/twitter/in general. Gives her a VERY bad image
5. Cut all ties with Chris Brown
she has a longggggggggggggggggggggggggg way to go

THIS. I totally love Rihanna, but calling her the Queen of Pop is the most delusional statement I've heard. The Navy thinks having so many albums, sales, etc. makes her automatically the Queen. It's more than that, it's also about INPUT and CREATIVITY, which Rihanna hasn't explored so much yet. She hasn't done so much inspiring and revolutionary things, those are strong and important points as well.

Her album sales are actually mediocre. All she has is single sales which her label does the majority of her work. Literally, her label writes the song AND gets producers to of course, produce the song.
Even BRITNEY was more invested in her work.

Gaga does better in touring and album sales, so why would Rihanna, with her only advantage being her single sales (even tho she still has yet to outsell any of Gaga's lead singles), be considered the Queen Of Pop ?

You're not seriously implying that just because Rude Boy did better in the US than Telephone, the entire RR era was bigger than the TFM era, are you ?

Telephone has outsold Rude Boy, no? 3 million(~) vs. 2.9 million
The only aspect in success Rude Boy probably beat Telephone in was radio - had both high urban and pop exposure. But everything else, Telephone>>
And has Rated R even passed 3 million?

The topic is what does Rihanna has to do to prove she's the queen of pop.
-Have a higher average album sales than Gaga
-Get a single that will outsell Gaga's lead singles.
-Have several "+150 million" grossing tours.
