@ you dragging your own argument with "it took only 2 years to hit 500k" when it's sitting at 540k (at best) currently yet you're still going on about how "it's still selling!!!"

there's such a thing as discounts and promotion. if it took Ariana 1 year to sell 400k and Demi supposedly "2 years" to sell 500k, I don't see how she won't outsell her. you're just in denial over something that clearly has a high chance of happening.

You COULD say the same about Demi, but fact is Demi has had a consistent career so far and every era she gets new things achieved. #1 Album with HWGA, #1 pop single in Unbroken era, better WW sales with DEMI and biggest tour for the NLT.
Even after MITUSA flopping she's got herself another top 10 on pop radio...

Like i said, Ariana's last singles flopped/underperformed, she only has one successful local single so far, you can't really predict what's gonna happen in her next era, obviously the same counts for Demi but it's easily more predictable and safer to say she will continue doing well.

If you say it's because of bad music, you probably have never given her a chance. Every Time You Lie, Catch Me, Fix A Heart, Lightweight and Nightingale are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY BETTER than anything Selena or Miley have released so far. She releases generic singles with bad lyrics and that's one of her issues. I know a lot of people that don't like her personality either or her looks. Plus, she still has the Disney image.
