That's not what she meant. She was talking about how she feels comfortable with nudity but if you don't then she supports that too. She said she just wants there to be no hate and love and support between women.

What she said was feminist but I think the word has been misused so much and aimed at her in a critical way that she's reacting to the negative connotation of it.

What negative stigma? Feminism is "cool" "hot" and "trendy" right now. Everyone is a feminist (or at least claims to be), so good for Kim. This is a proof that she can think for herself !

I don't think people should be too disappointed in this, for her to pose her actions in her career and stuff as a feminist gesture would have been a lot worse. I think the honesty is good, it would have been easy for her to jump on the current cool™ feminist bandwagon.

I think she misunderstood feminism a bit with the whole free-the-nipple analogy (you don't have to be comfortable showing your nipples to be a feminist, just respect other people's decision to do so - which she seems to do).

I don't necessarily see her as a feminist icon anyways, and either way, it's her decision to identify as a feminist or not. REAL feminists would and should respect her decision to do so.
