Albums releases are on Wednesdays in Japan, so it's a legitimate date but it just seems weird to have a relatively big artist (not massive, but still manages to go Top 40 in most of US and Europe) stagger their release like this. I get that she is more popular in Japan, but it just seems like a easy way for her to loose sales.
I wouldn't be surprised if they just put a release date down on the Amazon to dirve preorders, but change the date later on. But, that's pure speculation, that is probably wrong on my part.
