So, now lets talk about the fact that most people who emigrate are usually low class and middle class people that didn't study to be engineers nor have the money to invest in your country, legal immigration is not a choice. their best bet is to go illegal and marry or pray they get to spend enough years in the country to get their papers.

Does it hurt to try?
if they put effort to make a good life, it won't affect every other citizen's paycheck. My grandmother came from Colombia with four boys and she had to raise them all by herself. She became legal and worked hard to sustain for her family. She influenced all her boys to get up and make great choices in life instead of living off of another citizens and their money. If you decide to just go illegal and have kids without a job, you're passing on the idea for generations to come that it is
easier to live a life without effort. The country will get worse and worse from then on
