She is so consistent. She is absolutely up there as one of the best singers of our generation. She is so humble and yet CRAZY talented. I have been following her since 2006 and to see her career take off like this, is just amazing. I hope her next album will have more songs like Falling Slow, she is destined to sing soul, because she defines soul. Not urban ac soul but more Alicia Keys first two album kind of soul.

DAMN that BET performance was everything yesterday and it will hopefully make everyone run to the store to buy that album. She is a legend in the making.

She has been often compared to Ariana and JoJo.. I think that's an insult, cause she really is FAR ahead of them vocally. None of them have made THIS impact on a crowd like Tori. I love Jojo's music and she is a great singer, but she definitely isn't singing as effortless as Tori. Ariana has a good voice but the tone gets irritating after sometime, she misses the 'soul' factor + her appearance just isn't giving her any credibility.

Tori has staying power. She just started.

I don't know about Jojo though as she's come a LONG way especially under her current vocal coach. I'd say her and Tori are about equal.

But yes, Tori needs to broaden her themes a bit more and work on her upper belts. My favorite songs on the album are Anyway, Bottled Up, Funny, First Heartbreak and Should've Been Us and I like where she went sonically with those.
