It's cute, sometimes I find myself guiltily singing it but it would have made a better bonus track with Dance For You or Schoolin' Life moving up to the main tracklist.

True.
We can complain about 4 and the mis-management all we'd like but the fact does remain that Beyonce wanted to make an artistic statement, do it her way, create music on her terms not the buying public. And that's what she did. And that's how it played out commercially.

NO DFY and SL (omg same initials as single ladies... a missed global smash ) MADE the deluxe album! It made it worth buying! DFY and SL complements each other so well ahhhh

Good point. The Deluxe wouldn't have been as much a selling point if those amazing songs weren't on it. I just meant that for most artists a bonus track is good but not really good enough to be on the album, and that's what I feel about BTINH.

First Jagged Little Pill is a horrible album no matter how much it sold, "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" wasn't over-thought, she is lazy like we all know now, she didn't sit and make a bunch of songs, re created them, scrapped them and did something else over or besides them. Lauryn Hill doesn't work like that, when she is focused and not acting lazy/procreating a bunch of kids, the work is done rapidly just like she did with the songs of her Unplugged after TMOLH. Stevie is the exception to the rule because he is a creative genius and even so I doubt he over-thought that album, maybe he wasn't inspired and decided to delay. Music always come out good when it's spontaneous, not over-thought, just letting your inspiration and talent flow. But the again, maybe she is not over-thinking it, maybe she has problem with her label, maybe she just doesn't want to release. That would actually be better.

"Jagged Little Pill" is a great album.
"Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" wasn't re-worked in the way Beyonce's is re-worked hers. But, they had to find different people to make the album they wanted, and they said it was challenging. That is why there are a lot of theories on exactly who wrote what because they said there was SEVERAL "ghost writers" on the album, but they made it seem like Lauryn Hill wrote it.
Stevie was a GENIUS!
