1) Radio premiere/digital release: Friday, 10/14
2) X Factor performance: Sunday, 10/16
3) Music video: Friday, 10/21

Or maybe even the music video along with the digital release because this has to be an instant hit since the album is coming out next month. They can't really afford for it to be a slow builder.

Exactly. The performance on Sunday would have actually been the perfect release strategy if they were releasing on Friday. They are going to be losing nearly 3 full days of sales in the first week now.

Monday morning this will be everywhere in UK

I kinda miss the old good days in UK that we were getting radio release , video release and a couple performances before the single release . Now the top spot is almost impossible if you are not a streaming monster
