I love Friends, but That 70' show is has more replay value for me. I own like half the seasons and watch them often. Plus it appeals more to me because there closer to my age then some 30+ year olds living in an apartment in New York.

The fact that he's a serial rapist isn't a "personal thought". While I agree that Cosby and Seinfeld had much greater impact than Friends, I wouldn't be running about defending Cosby when its star and creator raped dozens upon dozens of women. Seems a bit crass and unseemly.

And the point is, him being a serial rapist doesn't not change history or facts, just like MJ raping kids doesn't change his overall impact on MUSIC.

I love Friends!! My family watched every episode in like 3 weeks.

I have no idea about the impact compared to the Cosby show though, all I know is that Friends is a classic and its impact will be long lasting.

Seinfeld was a way better show with better actors and a smarter script.

I hate Phoebe... one of the worst sitcom characters ever. I know everyone pretends to love her because she's "kooky" but she's not at all funny and very tryhard. Joey wasn't funny either.

Never seen a single episode of TCS. Must be an American phenomenon, whereas Friends was global still syndicated showing up to 10 episodes a day. I've never seen TCS run on syndication in the UK nor have I ever heard anyone speak about it. Must be more local than Friends and Seinfeld. I've never watched Seinfeld through syndication but whenever I speak about JLD being in Veep, people are like oooh yeh she was in Seinfeld, So I guess it must be more popular.
