Madonna's not even in the running. And I agree Beyoncé hasn't been very innovative in her music, but her performance skills are next level. She surpassed Christina Aguilera for second-most legendary icon of the early 2000s, which is HUGE.

I think she's actually one of the more replaceable ones. Aside from her name, what does she bring to the table that most people couldn't these days?

And most people cite her as an influence because she was the one of biggest pop girls. It's not her artistry and uniqueness that they are truly influenced by, its what she represents and all the things she's done. At least, that's how I see it. I'm not saying she is going anywhere. She's carved out her place, but as far as what she offers, she is replaceable.

Overall, probably Britney. She has the most unique story, legacy, and aura out of any of the most recent pop girls of the last several several several years.
Rihanna could come close just because her voice is the most unique thing radio has heard in a long time.
