Not only is On the 6 cited under its Nielsen Soundscan leaked stat (which is outdated at least by two years), you're missing club sales estimations for her hit albums. I'll see if I can find any estimates for club sales.

Looking at jennifers album sales people say shes never been a big album seller but her first 3 stuido albums (minus the remixes) all sold over 6.5 million worldwide each

And another way is her first 5 album releases all did over 3.5 million each if we look at it that way

She was such a force with her first 5 albums

And compare her to other dominating girls now jennifers albums (to were they are now) she was selling way more

What makes her sales more impressive up untill 2012 she never toured, released less singles then her peers but still up there sale wise and in front of some girls that's released way more singles, done bigger tours and had more number 1 hits

Thats impressive and most of her sales are from the pre- digital era

And shes had 10 top 10 hits on the US charts (4 number 1 singles) yet with only 10 top 10s shes in the top10 for most weeks spent inside the top10 on the hot100

Jennifer Lopez was the biggest force in entertainment in the early 00s in music, movies, & media. Her early music success is underrated. IIRC, she got more #1 songs than Britney, Christina, Pink, in that time period.

I think her television success is notable as well. She started the popstar becoming reality television judge trend as well. It's rare for one to be a successful movie and pop star let alone succeed in television & fashion.
