I've been listening to Kiss lately (as well as Turn Me Up on repeat). It's genuinely one of the best pop albums in recent times. It's just flawless. I don't get the hate for it. I love every since track, all 19 of them, including Picture.
Hoping the next record is just as good, if not better.
Literally all of this. Obviously I don't want it to be a sonic clone or anything but I certainly would be open to more music in that vein.
I have a feeling she'll announce her lead single at the VMAs this year.
Of course I don't want a clone, and I know it should be edgier for a mainstream success, but I just don't want it to be too far away from Kiss, I think that style fits her perfectly and no other girl is doing bubblegum pop as well as Carly does.

As has been answered many times throughout this thread, she had an album before Kiss. It was a folk album. Her Katy Hudson, of sorts.

If that's the case then I hope it sounds like Someone To Call My Lover by Janet Jackson. Kiss was seriously one of the best pop albums released in 2012, so underrated.
