I use pads, but I should start with the tampons. Pads are such as bitch. Blood gets on my underwear.



Another question: has anyone ever gone swimming while with their periods? And if so, how does it feel and were you using a pad or tampon??

On the first day I use both , but from days 2-4 I use tampons and on the 5th I use a panty liner.

Tampons were incredibly uncomfortable for me at first. But after a while I got used to them and I ended up preferring them to pads. They just seem less messy and I like the fact that I can't really feel them.

But I always wear a back-up pad/panty liner regardless. After having an "incident" once, I am extremely paranoid about something getting on my clothes again.
